1938 was in the Museum of Modern Art in New York the first exhibition about the German Bauhaus. The exhibition was organized by Walter and Ise Gropius and Herbert Bayer.
The catalog with over 200 pages showed for the first time the complete work of the Bauhaus until 1928.
