The Genni chair, by Gabriele Mucchi, certainly belongs to this group as well. The architect and designer is considered a representative of the Italian Rationalism. The chair, designed in 1935, has a steel suspension and can be folded in two ways.
The Italian company Zanotta was founded in 1954. By the end of the 60’s, it had achieved an international breakthrough by means of the Italian designs of Radical Design. In addition to the contemporary artists of the time like Joe Colombo, Achille and Pier Castiglioini, Superstudio, Studio DDL or Marco Zanuso, Zanotta also presented Italian design classics of the 30’s and 40’s.
