Eero Saarinen was born in Finnland and the son of the famous architect and founder of the Cranbook academy Eliel Saarinen. With the Tulip chair, EeroSaarinen realized his most ground-breaking design. For the first time, a chair with only one leg was produced – along with a whole series of one-leg tables. Research was conducted for 5 years at Knoll to achieve the optical unity between the seat and foot.

Measurements: 68 x 58 x 81 cm, seat height: 48 cm

At Markanto, the standard Tulip arm chair is available with Tonus upholstery or in Knoll Textiles - to request other variations (for example, upholstery in Hallingdal, Divina or leather) just send us an email. The Tulip chair is also available in black and silver!
