Standing Lamp
by Gyula Pap

Tecnolumen
This floor lamp was designed in 1923 by the Hungarian Gyula Pap in the Bauhaus workshop in Weimar. It is likely that only one lamp was made in the metal workshop at the time and was used in the famous experiment house, the “House am Horn.” The lamp was then published in 1925 in the Bauhaus book Nr. 7 “New Work of the Bauhouse Studios.” The forms that make up the lamp are only large cylinders and discs. Simple, therefore, elegant.
