After leaving the Bauhaus group, Wilhelm Wagenfeld developed this multipurpose light. The design from 1930 was later published in the brochures of the Weimar Bau- und Wohnungskunst company.
Conceived as a table or wall light, it is an example of the functional design that was conceived in the Bauhaus workshop. Characteristic of this is the no-nonsense form, composed of three cylinders of different sizes. The open screwing of the light emphasizes its functionality as well. The only copyright-protected multipurpose light re-edition that has been authorized by Prof. Wilhelm Wagenfeld.
